About
Despite what the so-called experts will tell you, acid staining concrete is not all that hard. It is, however, a delicate procedure that requires a little bit of wisdom and training before you dig in. Now that’s why you’re here, isn’t it?
The example project shown throughout the step by step tutorial was chosen to give the readers an idea of the basic techniques needed to acid stain concrete. The floor is within a modest outbuilding, but the slab is in great shape. It was poured about seven years ago and has had very little traffic and no treatments (like paint, glue, etc). We are now going to dress it up as a “guest cabin” so we thought it would be a perfect candidate for a tutorial project.
Please feel free to contact the authors with questions or comments. We certainly can’t promise to respond (or have the slightest idea for an answer), but we will do our best! Also, we would be really excited if you sent us pictures of your projects. Let us know if you used this tutorial!
